Hi, I had ArcSoft Photo Studio 5.5 installed on my Computer (Windows 7 64 Bit). It came bundled with a Canon Scanner. This was my default Image viewer as I wanted it. I recently bought an HP Scanner and it came bundled with Photo Studio 6. I obviously thought this is great, I can now upgrade my bundled software. I proceeded to install Photo Studio 6. It did not recognise the previous installation of Photo Studio 5.5 and installed separately. When I double clicked on image files they still opened in Photo Studio 5.5.
I un installed both programs and re installed only Photo Studio 6.
Now Windows Photo Viewer has taken over as the Default Image viewer. If I go to Default programs and click on Windows Photo Viewer all the check boxes whether selected or not are Greyed Out and you cant deselect anything.

Here I am two years later with a new laptop at work, and I cannot use either of the two powershots, the laptop does not successfully load a driver for it. All that makes it a tedious, unenjoyable process. Especially that, in the end, their software NEVER successfully recognized the camera (unbelievable). I go get the original Canon CD and realize that the laptop does not have a CD player.
