Php5apache2_4.dll Win64

When trying to use PHP 5.6.30 with Apache 2.4 there seems to be a somewhat well-known issue (outside of using Docker) but there does not seem to be any real solution for fixing the issue. Php5apache2_4.dll from php version 5.6 is not compatible with Apache 2.4. Ramakrishnan on February 6, 2015 8:50 pm. Very useful article! Apache Lounge already has php5apache2 4.dll for php 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4 (!!!! Apache 2.4!!!!) But its work on Windows x86 only 🙁 Do you can to do the same for Windows x64?

I am trying to make Apache (httpd-2.4.3-win32) to work with PHP 5.4.7 (VC9 x86 Thread Safe) on Windows 7.

Apaches default page is working and proudly says: 'It works'. PHP CLI is working and reports version 5.4.7

I downloaded php5apache2_4.dll-php-5.4-win32.zip from apachelounge and extracted the dll for 5.4.7 it to ~/php/ext/

When I add

the apache service refuses to start and Event Viewer says:

I used php thread safe version, both php and apache 32 bit.

What am I missing ? Any ideas how to fix this ?

The correct version of php5apache2_4.dll should be in the root of your PHP folder. The latest thread-safe Windows 32-bit PHP binaries are Version 5.4.15, at http://windows.php.net/. You should not need to download php5apache2_4.dll from anywhere else, and I certainly wouldn't advise doing so.

So http.conf should contain:

The latest Apache 2.4 Win32 binaries from Apache Lounge are in httpd-2.4.4-win32.zip.

Finally, try changing your line: 'AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .php' to:

By the way, if you want to run Apache 2.4 64-bit, you need to use the 64-bit PHP available only from Anindya's Blog.

Without seeing the rest of your configuration, I can't think of anything else, other than a path set wrong somewhere, but there are various useful tutorials around (see, for instance: Apache, PHP, and MySQL Setup on Windows).

Php5apache2_4.dll X64

I've just done a complete webserver installation tonight, and the complete Apache/PHP installation using the above sources took about an hour (including mistakes!).

I wanted to install Apache and PHP without using xampp. Apache is working fine. When i type localhost in my browser it shows 'It works!' but when i try to install PHP, i get always this error: 'apache 2.2.4 cannot load php5apache2_4.dll into server: %1 is not a Win32-executable' (or something like this. Ive got a german version of the error)

I have windows 7 64bit. I re and installed multiple times but nothing changed. In my config i have this.

I used to have the same probleme so I switch to a Virtual Machine on Unix. My Probleme was here :

Apache Please use the Apache builds provided by Apache Lounge. They also provide VC11 builds of Apache for x86 and x64. We use their binaries to build the Apache SAPIs.

If you are using PHP with Apache 1 or Apache2 from apache.org (not recommended) you need to use the older VC6 versions of PHP compiled with the legacy Visual Studio 6 compiler. Do NOT use VC9+ versions of PHP with the apache.org binaries.

With Apache you have to use the Thread Safe (TS) versions of PHP.

I wanted to post this as a comment but it was to long.
